Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Revéla collects, why, and how we protect it. By joining the waitlist or using Revéla, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

Revéla is an AI personal color analysis app built by Ibrahim Ali (ibrahim.ali@jbs.live). The app is pre-launch and currently operates a waitlist at myrevela.app.

2. What data we collect

Waitlist email

When you join the waitlist, we store your email address so we can send you launch updates and your early access invite. That's it.

Selfie photos (in-app, post-launch)

Photos you upload for color analysis are sent to OpenAI's GPT-4o API for processing and automatically deleted from our servers within minutes of analysis completion. We do not retain your selfies.

Closet item photos (in-app, post-launch)

Photos of clothing you upload are stored in your private Supabase Storage folder, protected by row-level security. Only you can access your closet.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics (anonymized, no cookies, no cross-site tracking) to understand page traffic. No personal data is collected.

3. How we use your data

Send waitlist confirmation and launch announcements
Provide color analysis results within the app
Generate outfit recommendations from your closet
Improve the product based on usage patterns (anonymized)

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

5. Data retention

Waitlist emails: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
Selfie photos: deleted automatically within minutes of analysis
App account data: retained until you delete your account

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request deletion of your waitlist entry or any other data, email us at ibrahim.ali@jbs.live and we'll action it within 48 hours.

If you're in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Children

Revéla is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll notify waitlist members by email before the changes take effect.
